Watching this one as I have the kit. I started the excavator kit. A little slow going but reminds of a Bandai Gundam/Star Wars kit which is not a bad thing.

(NOTE) The decals on the clear parts have been removed.

I have the cab windows masked with the Decals removed, they just didn't look right.

Door is just press fitted in , it will be in the open position when it's all finished.

I had this all screwed-up , I put the engine hood too far to the pivot hinge. I thought that I would have to trash the whole build.
Fortunatly I managed to rip it off before the glue set up too much.




I don't like the plastic that Hasegawa used in this kit.
The Orange is rarher hard and dificult to cut smoothly,the Dark Grey isn't too bad, but the light gray is worst of all.

This is coming together really nicely. I was considering this as a load for my M920 MET w/M870A1 trailer project. These pics may have just made up my mind to use it. Very nice.

Was considering the kit use as a base for a CAT 924 loader but found out that the whoöe vehicle is too small for a CAT.

The major components are assembled and ready for paint.

The only major sink marks I found were on the Bucket bottom.

A few push-pins need filling where visable.

I replaced the plastic mounts for the hoses with fine brass rod, the plastic pins kept breaking off.

Replace the pins on the tiny block before installing it.


Next to paint it all.

A little more done.


When installing the Tires on the rims, be shure to install the tires over the outside edge of the rims. there are some raised areas on the inside edge of the rims and the tires are rather soft. You don't want marks as shown here on the visible area do you?

It wasn't really that difficult a kit to build.
It's not meant to represent a vehicle from any one country, that's why it's in green and not Camo.
I don't have any info on these, but it was fun to build.
