Darren,
Great review, Sir. As always. Since I've already built this one for a project, I'll add this info to what you've written - it all goes together nicely with the caveat the umbrellas require careful cleaning and can be a bit fiddly but I think they're easier to work with than if they were PE. YMMV. The ice cream freezer also needs a bit of TLC and clean up to fit but the end result is quite nice. This can easily be built in a session or two, put on your favorite tunage, enjoy a nice beverage and build away.

Here in the USA the chairs and tables arae also molded in green but white is more prevalent. I want this for the chairs to sit on the back of a tank myself.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply as it does mean a lot to those writing the reviews.
John did you also feel that a fridge for beer, wine and cans would have been a good inclusion or better than an ice cream freezer in a set that has nothing to go in it?

David the tables and chairs are especially nice mouldings in this offering and I feel that a set with just several chairs in it would likely prove a popular release in its own right.

Darren, I agree with you. Especially given that it is supposed to be a cafe and they included glassware for drinks, it would have made better sense. Fortunately, those coolers aren't especially hard to build.

Nice review Darren. I missed a chance to pick up one of these at On Tracks last weekend. Kicking myself now.

Doesn't MiniArt also offer this in a more mid-century theme? I need one for a French outdoor cafe in WW2 Paris. Going to have to look...

Thanks Paul; that's exactly what I'm looking for. I really should allocate some time to looking through catalogues & websites more often. But you know, never enough time...

Too much to look at, through and for Frank... the down side to living in this golden age!
