The ACV-15 crew got balls, that's for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHBj1O67J4Y

Yes, Sir! Balls bigger then milk jugs!
There's something to be said for "closing in on the enemy" and "close encounters"! Getting right in on the T-72 at least kept the APC out of the gun-sights... But I'm unsure what those Turks hoped to do once closed in... But, the only other option was to run and get lost behind the trees before the tank could line them up.

Would the 20mm (or is it 30mm?) shred the T72s engine area, especially at that range? Get a mobility kill out of things.

It is not a Turkish track. The title of the YouTube says it is Turkish. The title here is more likely correct. The Turks have given some of their APCs to northern rebels. This is a rebel track and is likely a failed VBIED attack.

The Syrian Rebels received only APC versions from the Turks. This particular version is armed with a .50 cal. m.g. in an ACAV
turret.

Hello Robert,
Although I do not know anymore that what I might glean from the video, I am curious about your point of view regarding a VBIED. It may very well have been, yet, I tend to think not. I am not sure about an AFV being an effective delivery system as it seems that it would serve to contain a detonation and vent it away from the target through open hatches. It also seems to me that the best opportunity to affect the tank was towards the end of the video when the track was maintaining proximity to the rear hull.
What are your thoughts?
Respectfully,
Allen

There are many words I'd use to describe these people. But 'rebels' would not be one of them.

I'm not an admirer of their ideology. But there's no denying, they've got big brass ones.

I wonder about the APC crew if the T 72 fired while the tube was over the top of the open hatches.
