Hi Kar
The camo pattern was up to the individual crew or maintenance team. Look at reference material, like Squadron/Signal, or this site, etc. You will see the Panther G was typically painted an overall "panzer" yellow with overspray of green and/or red brown. There is some question as to whether some very late war G's may have been painted Panzer Grey with red-brown over spray.
I'm in the same position you are right now. I have been working on a Panther tank for quite some time but I have been wating to collect the rest of the materials to finish the dio. You might just want to take an air-brush and do it by hand. Practice a little on a piece of paper until you get the hang of it. If you really want pictures look on the internet for German tanks, or even check your local bookstore. I found this great book on German armor awhile back and its been a life saver. Half the fun of this hobby is all the researching that goes into it. Good luck with the rest of your work!

Apparently by the end of 1944 most Panthers and Tiger ll's were delivered in overall red-brown primer. Sand and green were then sprayed on, but the primer colour is always obvious as being the main, or basic, colour.
