I'm starting a big gun , hope you-all like it.
I start with the out-rigger supports .
You need to run the anchors from the inside through the bottoms as they have some flash on the holes.
Like so.
Do the same for the upper parts of the arms.

Cleaned and ready for assembly.
The upper part of the anchor stakes are glued to the arms as showm.
Here the anchor stakes are in the travel position .
Here's a pic. I found on the net, do a search of Flak 40 and you can see more.

Donald,
Here you go with another interesting build. Just got this kit so will follow along as you discover all of the issues and tell (show) me how to fix them.

The hatches in the Gun part don't fit, you should trim the left one to get them closed.

Next I'll be working on the Gun Barrel . I have a metal gun to get fitted.
I think a lot of you'll be very interested in that.
I'm finished for now.

Marko,
I think the picture is of a Flak 36 - 105mm not the 128mm of the Flak 40.
More than happy to be proved wrong - I'm no artillery expert.

Well on to the Gun Barrel.
I will be trying to use one of the gun barrels from Abers Zwilling set, hope it works.
The kit barrel and Abers side by side.
The Aber one is a little longer, it's desighned for the Takom twin
Started the Breach Block, it needs a little filler on some of the seams.
It's a little complicated on the end, unfortunatly most of this can't be seen once the end cover is installed.

I have the Aber barrel kit nice kit. Went into my 12.8 cm Flakzwilling 40 really easily. I ended up purchasing two sets of barrels because I have the Flak 40 from Amusing that came with the FuMG 39D and I am planning on purchasing this kit. Just as a FYI if anyone does not want to purchase two barrels when you only need one there is this:
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/timos-model-world-tmw00094-128cm-flak-40-metal-barrel--1269694
You can find it on ebay. Plus you get a laser cut real wood ammo crate.

Now to continue on with what I have.
I removed the slide from the kit gun barrel.
The metal gun barrel worked good for sanding the cut as shown.
For installing the metal barrel to the breach block first drill out the mounting hole to fit, then I placed the breach on a hard surface with a piece under the notch in the barrel This keeps the notches lined up as they should be.

Place the slide as shown and block up the breach to level.
Then tack in place.

Hey Guys, I think I either screwed this all up or Hobby Boss did.
The arm that holds the loading tray angles to the rear, there's no room to move its base forward to change the angle.
Any answers out there ?
HELP!

Hi there,
Another source for a single barrel is Bold Division, https://www.bolddivision.de/. He was willing to sell me the barrel only, for his product # 35024.
Hope this is of some use.

In my opinion it should be straight, although this is a Flakzwilling:
Also mine from Takom is straight:
