Thanks gentlemen!
Yeah this is an old one, but it is a commission piece and he sent the kit… And for me reworking a kit and all that detail work is the real fun of it. It is kinda like this old Tamyia Pzr II… not the greatest kit, but a fun challenge to mess with…
Thanks again!

Great job - I love the back door opening mechanism. That is dead on!
I like the D rings on the outside storage compartments - haven't ever seen them (doesn't mean it hasn't been done.)

Wow! Thanks for posting those pictures! Say, how did you get the netting on the side, and what about the seats? How did you get the wood look? Thanks for your time.

Very well done this vehicle. good to see somebody is doing something good with this old kit. I have built it several years ago and thought then it was quite a nice kit.
I like how you added stowage to the kit. A question comes in mind when looking at the inside... The stowage boxes on the inside usually have cushions that is where the people in the back sit with their back on. Now I don`t remember if the Old Tamyia kit had those the new DML Hanomag has them... Further I can`t really say much about then it looks very good well painted and decorated

Really nice work on an old kit !! I like the camo scheme and your dry-brushing. The extra gear really makes the kit stand out as well. Great job !!
Cheers !!

I have many pic in which the back cushions are gone. Battlefield lost or maybe they were never installed, I do not know. I followed these pictures as my guide.. The Tamyia has not storage bins or back rests at all. Mine were added in with styrene. I have not seen the Dragon kit.

Say, how did you get the netting on the side, and what about the seats? How did you get the wood look? Thanks for your time.
The net is simple medical gauze that I have soak in a 50/50 white glue & water solution and draped on. After it dried, I painted and weathered it.
The seat had 8 coats of liquid cement and stipled wiha rough brush to texture them. Next they were painted Burnet Sienna and weathered and dry brushed.
