The MAFVA Nationals Team, in line with government advice, have decided that in view of the current COVID-19 situation the 2020 MAFVA Nationals should be cancelled. All traders that have booked and paid for their space will be refunded. We’ll be back in 2021 taking our usual Father’s Day spot at Burgess Hall.
We deeply regret having to take this decision, but felt that we should respect medical guidance and act to protect members and their families from this infection.
In the meantime please follow your governments’ advice, stay well and please continue to support our trade partners by mail order.
For those of you self-isolating, Webmeister John Paulding is offering the opportunity for you to post up images of the masterpieces that you will now have time to create.....
Have a look at www.mafva.org to see what is up there already.
The MAFVA Facebook page is also a good place for contact: https://www.facebook.com/groups/478175569040094/
Stay safe, and look after each other, and keep in touch, especially with those who are not on line. Our hobby may be a solitary one, but we still need human contact of some kind.

Thanks Paul - it was the only sensible choice under the circumstances. We'll come back fighting next year!

It is a bummer, but I agree - it is the right decision.
