Nobody better say "not another German" This was the most common German armor 1944-45 and there are only two kits: Dragon and Tamiya.
Another alternative is welcome.
We have tons of German felines, we need more of the numbered vehicles.

YES! I just hope it has a full interior like the Panthers and King Tigers.
Will definitely get. (Oops!)
BTW, I can never have enough German in my stash. Oh, it's all German.

Fantastic! Yeah, we really could do with another one to compete with Dragon's, which is a great kit BTW. These and Pz.kpfw.IV Ausf H mids and lates are what I think of when I think of late war German armor. I hope this has a full interior as well. A full interior Stug III would make an excellent bisected cross section model.

I agree completely. Beautiful box art, by the way, though does anyone else think that the commander is just a smidgen too small? Picky, I know...

Nah, that's leutnant Schmall. Only 4'8" Wore lifts to enlist but ended up so useful in the Kleinerdeustchland division
Small? He's tiny.

My first thought also. A crew member standing alongside should be about the same height as the top deck... Lt Schmall would make a great T-55 loader though, given his dimensions.

Another Stug III is always welcome. Thanks for the fine pics Robin! In the next to last photo(of the busted Stug) the guy on the left seems to be taking a leak into the hatch he's standing over.

I think a little small as well, but Robins kind of prove he is in the range of a smaller man I think.

Are you implying that Robin is a smaller man? Hmmm.... Be the bigger man, Robin, and ignore that awkward social jab...and yes, that one guy standing on top legs apart does seem to be peeing on the "naughty Germans"! Whatever. Some guys just don't know how to win with grace...

Some basic facts about me: 6'4" and 260 pounds
One thing to consider about figures of tankers is that the biggest/tallest recruits are not picked to ride in tanks. I tried squeezing myself into the radio operators seat in a Stridsvagn 'S' and there was not enough room for my knees and therefore the hatch could not close above my head.
The height of the StuG III was 7'1" so my head would not have been visible across the top.
Maybe I could have been that guy leaning on the barrel and the pint sized guys are the actual tankers.

There actually is a height restriction even in the US Army now. I am 72(6') inches tall but was grandfathered when it was implemented. We also had a guy 6'4" whose head and shoulders would be above the loader's hatch on the M1. There was a tank commander at 4'11" who would jump off the TC seat to pull the chain to charge the 50 caliber machine gun.
You should see the crazy video the guys made when they went to the old Aberdeen proving grounds for familiarization with Soviet armor. Soviet tankers are restricted to 5'4" or so.
It is handy though to have one big guy on the crew for carrying main gun ammo and fixing track. He might stick out the hatch but when it comes time to free that bolt to change a track pad, you'll be grateful.

Nice pics Robin, but this is the wrong spot for them. I'd rather see any preliminary kit pics if you have those.
Sorry for being blunt, but seeing knocked out StuG's on a new kit announcement is not a good way to sell a kit. Plus, I would rather see their victims. You know, destroyed T-34's, Sherman's and Cromwell/Churchill tanks.
So those pics get an from me.

Those images are a response to the discussion/question about the apparent too small size of the commander figure.
In case you haven't noticed: some modellers do actually model knocked out vehicles. Not my cup of tea though but some do ...
Images of other vehicles would not add anything of value.
As for the images:
4 of them show vehicles in active service.
1 image shows an obviously knocked out StuG III
1 image shows a definitely captured/surrendered StuG, possibly knocked out
1 image shows a possibly captured and possibly knocked out StuG, I know too little about uniforms to tell which army those soldiers belong to.
So: The majority, 4 of 7, of the images show 'in service' StuG's ....
A discussion in a news post goes wherever it likes to
Cheers / Robin

Most mice have a scroll wheel. You can use it to do cool stuff like move past pictures you don't want to look at that you feel are non-relevant but others may be interested in.
