Hi All, I am torn on what color the Canadian Staghound mk.iii is. The color call outs on the instructions call for mm med. green, is that correct?

Staghounds were built in the US. They left the production line in standard US Olive Drab basecoats.

Nevertheless, in Apr '44 the British adopted their own version of OD (SCC15) to avoid repainting US sourced vehicles which by this time vastly outnumbered British/Commonwealth sourced ones.

The SCC15 was very similar, although not completely identical to the OD used by US. Vehicles after maintenance therefore would be painted, partially or in full, in SCC15.

Since Mk.IIIs were built in Britain based on existing variants using surplus Crusader Mk.III turrets, they were painted in SCC15.

Well base coat is down. Went with an OD. It still needs a lot of weathering wear. But it's a start.

Staghound MKIII's were actually repainted in SCC15 witch was the British equivalent of US OD.
