You'd think by now that since they were so widely used, there would be some BTR-152 kits out besides those ancient SKIF ones. How did they get missed?

They haven't. Trumpeter is doing a much better version. (Although with TLC my Skif ones don't look half bad)

The first kits to be produced would be of the vehicles and aircraft that were most widely used, or so you would think. But that's not necessarily the case.

That's exactly opposite of what normally happens. The companies want to earn as much off of the molds as possible. Just wait.

Very nice they look too; be even better if someone made some comparable figures.

Needless to say, the Law of Sod prevails and I have the venerable Skif version in my stash (sigh), and true to my perverse nature I'll soldier on and make it.

ICM and Tank make suitable figures.

Marc,

I'm aware of these figures - the ICM ones in particular are very welcome, but I actually meant the more dynamic poses as per the box art. It becomes a bit of a bind having to convert the ancient Tamiya Panzer Grenadiers or similar (endless sanding, Milliput, Hornet Heads and weapon sets). Some energetic debussing Soviet figures would be more than welcome.

Thanks anyway.

Brian
