I painted my P-47d in "Alum. Plate" metalizer.
I am wondering after I buffed it, can I apply Future for the decals or
Do I have to apply Metalizer sealer, then let that dry, then apply Future.
Thanks!

I have appplied good decals direcly over metalizer and had good results with neither Future nor sealer. Make sure you trim your decals as close as possible to the edge of the color. The problem with both sealer and Future is they reduce the metlalic look of the finish.

When I use MM Aluminum plate, I dont use future. I paint, buff, MM sealer, decals, seal again. Generally works out OK

I put some future over MM Metalizers and regrettedd it
Usually a metallic buffed finished is glossy enough for decaling
I havent used the sealer I bought, as I use the Metalizer to look like a raw panel and not an overall base coat.
i dont recommend the Future.
Although in a recent thread somoen and I discussed letting it "cure" for 7 days and then doing it.
Well, my metallizer went"bubbly" right after the Future went on, so I have to now advise against it

CHIP,
I painted a P-47 in MM as well. you can check it out in my gallery. I painted the MM,
buffed it with a moto tool and a Felt wheel, Applied my decals with solvaset, and did not apply any sealer or topcoat during the process.
With my projects before......I found that applying sealer or future changes the Metal
polished affect that you got just perfect. It seems to dull the polished look,, so I would
suggest against adding a sealer. My 2 pence. Tod
