M113 South Lebanese Army 1982
I was inspired with Star Decals set with light blue M113, with 3 icons on the front. The vehicles were supplied by the Israelis, so it was modified on IDF standard.
I started with old Italeri kit, followed Academy instructions for IDF vehicle, used PE set for Tamiya, and elaborated many photos to revert Israeli design to Lebanese needs.
Photos of the vehicle
Maketa:
I zamenio sve ručke
Grab handles replaced
Bench shortened and modified to be relocated in the middle of the vehicle, contrary to regular position on the left and right side of infantry compartment.
As vehicle has several antennas, i added another radio inside.
Scratch built drivers' control panel
Stowage for cans used from Academy, fuel cans NATO in the rear, Israeli on the front
Still missing decals... anyone has them surplus?

I do not have the decals but this is a very cool project. I like the renewed interest in SLA armor by both mfgrs and builders.

Interesting project and looking great.Plus don't forget since you are using the old Italeri M113 you are going to need to change those road wheels,as they are for the Italian version and would not be correct on yours.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I know about several shortcomings of this kit that i managed to correct.
Wheels, that i know of, are not among items that will be corrected, as i can't look for proper wheels during pandemic as we are in sort of quarantine. So, i will just had to go with it. A bit of dust will be helpful in that regard.
A question: on pics 3 and 6, there is 3rd .30cal MG installed on the hatch of the infantry compartment, do i see it clearly? i don't see any tripod?
