Now there's shop-worn! I thought that the mattress was a neat touch.

Thanks Joe and Frank! They were a fun build; gave me a chance to really push the weathering. Joe, the mattresses were made from Kneadatite two part epoxy putty. I think it is the same as Green Stuff, a two part yellow and blue mix. I used a punch and die to make the buttons and added them into indents made with a toothpick. The rest of the mattresses were detailed with an AK Carving and Modeling set but you could use really any kind of metal files or dental type tools. They were a good bit easier to create than I thought. It does add a nice touch for pretty minimal effort.
Cheers,
Rick
