Back to work on Trumpeter's Morser 18 21cm. The kit's barrel appears too short and my RB aluminum replacement appears long enough, but too large in diameter where the trolley attaches to the underside. Does anyone have reliable info? I see that the barrel length is supposed to be 6510mm --- measured from where? The breech block? If so, the RB barrel is about right in length.
Anyone been down this road?

Found what I needed, a dimensioned Krupp print for the barrel on www.forum.axishistory.com. The 6510mm length is measured over the breech block. So now all that needs doing is to measure up the too long RB models barrel and turn it to diameter and length.
