Rick,
Great work. I have a couple of these in the stash. Where did you get the manlet cover and the stowed euipment? I esp. like the tarps in the right front turret rack.
Again. fine job. Makes me want to tackle one of mine.

Hi Shaun ..the manlet cover and most of the stowage is done by Trazx..Both sets are pretty good and are just drop in fits, except the long tarp on the the left fender which I had to fight with to get into place but this could be because I changed the bins and used the ones from Dragon.I would recommend both kits to anyone doing the Pershing...

Thanks Rick. I read the other thread about your Pershing and the Trazx set. Checking on prices right now.
Thanks again,
Shaun

I would also recommend the eduard P/E set I only used a few things from it but what I did use looks good..Just the star masks are worth the price...I tried to get the Royal model set but I'm still waiting on that one ...Guess I'll have to build another one...If you need any info when it comes time to build yours let me know ..I've been living and breathing Pershings for the last 6 months.. :-) Oh yeah the WWII production tracks are great ..A bit more clean up than other types of aftermarket tracks but worth it....(pricey little devils).

Rick,
I have the eduard PE set. I think I will build one OOB and then lay the aftermarket goodies on the second one. Funny, I was going to ask you if you used the Eduard stencils to paint the stars...

Yeah I used them but not the way they tell you to...I painted the areas white then laid the stencils down and spraying the OD after that then I just lifted off the masks and the white stars were there...this way you don't have to worry about overspray...little tip that worked well.
