Does anyone know if Tamiya is retooling their T-34/76 and T-34/85 kits for re-release?

I know they just totally redid the KV-1, so it's possible.

Is there a better photo than that thumbnail? It should be fairly easy to tell if those are new kits or not.

Mark, did a screenshot from YouTube. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwduefRG_kM You will see the T-34s at the 54 minute mark.

Doesn't look new to me - closed loops, incorrect museum tow lugs, armoured plate all look like the 70s moulding. Also the front wheel is way too close to the road wheel, making the fender look really long, another sign it's the vintage kit. Would be happy to be wrong.

Yes, I took a closer look and it looks like the same old kits. I have seen these on the Tamiya site as new releases. Wondering why they are advertising them as new?

They are the old ones. Kit #35049. The new KV1 is Kit #35372.

Yep, as everyone else has said, the old kits. Though I agree that it would be really nice if they retooled their T-34s.
