I started building this D9R in July 2019. It came with an M1070 and trailler set by Takom but i was more interested in completing the dozer first. Originally, i just wanted to build this out of the box, but recent discoveries of a USMC D9R with a simple cage armor in Armorama inspired me to make a simple modification to my dozer using sheet styrene and mesh from a fryer cover
The photo i found here in Armorama
Thanks for looking

Nice work on this small model, and very original conversion. Congratulations!

Very nice to see one of these newer 1/72 TAKOM offerings done (albeit modified ). I love the way you've done the front blade and that there is a bit of sag to the track, very nice and hope the rest of the kit lives up to the way the D9 looks.
Cheers,
Jan
