thanks. There will need to be some touch up but am really impressed with how the AK paint copes with my rubbish airbrush technique

And now painted and unmasked. Some tidy up needed especially on the Ash Grey where the Sky Grey bled in but I have to admit I am sadly pleased with this. So much so that the Type 89 may go the same way. Think I can increase the amount of masking, still a touch too much mid tone but its all a learning experience

End of the weekend. Paint touched up (not too bad from a distance) and wheels done. Next stop adding the missing parts that I left off for safety/ease of painting and then see what markings I want to do...

Good job on the paint job. I prefer the original jgsdf two tone scheme, even saw some type 90's with this interesting camo :

But yours will be unique, and that is cool. When fully weathered everything will blend in and your touch up will be invisible. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

so all but the .50 cal is on. Next up is a touch up on the new (fiddly) parts with the ash grey then a coat of gloss varnish & decals (not sure which scheme yet)

Didn't get round to glossing but did finish the MG and also have a little play with the 2 figures

Decals on. Slight issue with one means the markings aren't quite the right set for the unit, but hey everything else on it is what-if... And figures placed (faces need finishing). So for weathering, a question, what colour panel lines would you do? I don't plan to over weather this, just panel lines & some dust I think - more like a parade/cleaned vehicle...
