Hello,

Does anyone have recommendations on a good book on Soviet colors and camouflage pre-war through 1945? I would be looking for something that includes color profiles and paint schemes of different Russian vehicles for the purposes of modeling.

Any suggestions you have would be helpful.

Tarnanstiche fuer Panzer bei der Roten Armee 1930-1945 from Armada Vertikal issue # 5. You can probably get this in English.
ISBN 5-94038-005-0

It's a great book with 56 pages, many BW photos and several color plates showing 17 different vehicles. Hope that helps.

There was a book from AK Interactive that seems to be out of print, but you may still get the digital version:

It was in English as Camouflage of the Tanks of the Red Army 1930-45 It was considered definitive when published back in 1999.

I wouldn't be surprised if the authors of the AK book used it as a source.
