I am building Tasca’s Firefly VC and I have a quick question. It’s probably a silly one but this is not first firefly. What is the tool shown by part F15? The instructions don’t list a part color and I don’t know if it should be metal, olive drab, or wood?

They are barrel cleaning rods. Have seen many
modelers paint them wood color with metal ends.

F-14 and bands on F-15 should be SCC15 Olive Drab (base color for Fireflies). Rods were wood. I usually paint them wood … for contrast. From what I've seen they were painted OD. You could paint them wood then dry brush with OD to get the worn paint look. (Same for axes, shovels, etc.)
