I remember seeing those trucks on the streets of Flensburg (close to the Danish border).
I think they were doing driver training.
I wanted a model or toy already back then,
they were in the ROCO Minitanks range but I wasn't allowed to buy one then
Now I can get one though

I would guess so Harald -- I believe there was one released several years back. Nevertheless I've sent a note to PSM to inquire about it. Cheers

Hi all,
saw this last week on MBK and pre-ordered it.
Then they got a limited re-release of the MAN KAT1 8×8. So ordered that one too.
Hope they do a box van version of this.
Regards Jason

'Just love this one!
I too remember seeing these on the countless exercises we undertook in the 70s and 80s; we always seemed to crossover into someone else's exercise - not surprising really when most of NATO were busy in the field on some scheme or other.
Anyway, lovely looking model.

Hello Harald,
Here's the reply from Gerold Betzler of PSM:
"this is a re-issue with some modifications. The former vaccu-part tarpauilin has been replaced by a resin part. The engine and the bench of the previous release are not longer included in this one."
Cheers,
Tat

Great to see a release of such a cool-looking soft skin; we need more of these from the main stream producers as well. This'll do nicely in the mean time!

The link for the company website has the wrong URL. It should be
https://www.perfect-scale.de/en/
Corrected. Thanks!
