Very interesting and exotic model. Honestly, to this day and did not know anything about this tank or about this company. Although the forms of Marder are clearly guessed. By the way, does anyone know where you can buy kits of this company? I did not find any stores or manufacturer website.

Look in the Forums. There is a recent discussion about this kit and another TAM from a second Argentinian manufacturer.

Hello, thanks for the comments. Ansewring to your questions: Armaq is a company that works to the Argentinian Army, producing kits painted and assembled for internal use, but in Juny of 2020 they are launching a kit for model makers.
Their webpage is under construction, but is www.maquetasargentinas.com.ar and the instagram is @armaq_135
The model that you see in the photos is made from one piece, but the kit they re launching has a superior quality and the design is made from the original fabric and construction plans of the Argentinian Army.
If you need any information feel free to ask me.

Very nice build and a really unique vehicle. To use a car-builder's analogy, it looks like a "chopped" Merkava.

Is it just me or do others also see a whole lot of Leopard I in this tank? Influence or perhaps designed together to meet local needs? Turret, suspension, tracks, etc seem similar.

Hello, you nailed it, the design of the Merkava and the TAM were
contemporary. In TAM's case the pattern was based in a german Marder, with the propper needs of the argentinian geography.
Basically is a mix of the Leopard I and a Marder, the israeli influence is much more visible in the TAM 2C, an upgrade of TAM developed by Elbit System.
