i am looking to get hold of any accessories or decals for my verlinden 1/35 V-100.

if anyone knows of exterior detail sets and decals could they let me know please, thanks.

As for stowage... I assume your doing a Vietnam vehicle? Remember that the V-100 were used for convoy escort along roads from base to base. They didn't carry much in terms of external stowage like you would see on other combat vehicles that operated away from bases. Parked in a base area there could of course be things laying around and on top.
For general US Vietnam gear I would recomend any of the Legend stowage sets. They have for M113, M48, M551, M151 and so on. On their webapage you can check out what they offer:

I'm also looking for photo etch for the exterior as there was some kind of mesh covering infront of the vehicles front headlights.

What kit did you get?

it's the verlinden one with the two 30 cal machine guns in the Cadillac cage turret.
