Hi all,
I have buyed Tamiyas M1A2 OIF and want to build the USMC Version.
But in the kit are two types of drive sprockets (the old one seen on M1 and earlyer M1A1īs and a new cut out one which i have seen on Army M1A1īs).
Have the US Marines also the cut out drive sprocket in use?
Are some Marine Corps tanks with this sprocket in the Iraq?
Where can i find some pictures?

Yes, the Marine should be using both, but I don't think the scalloped one is used with the track retaining ring.

I believe Rob is correct saw a episode of "Tank School" on the Disc. or Hist. Channel the other day. It's a Marine Tankers School. They had the scaloped sprocked without the retaining ring.
