Oh yeah Donald !

I've been curious about this kit. Anxious to see how you turn it into a masterpiece.
Let the party begin!

I have the whole thing finished , pictures about 60 some, and ready to go.
(Question?0 Do you want it all at once , or should I let it all dribble out a little at a time.
The response to my last build was very disappointing, hardly anyone said if they liked it or not. It makes me wonder if this is worth doing.

Donald,

Keep at it - this will be very useful - I have this in my stash (though don't quite know what to do with it). Your very clear methodology will be extremely helpful.

Donald.......keep it up! Good start. This is a perfect, solid kit to get over any long complicated build. Also, since this is a "what if" (and also quite futuristic), it gives you the option of some artistic license...........I went with the futuristic look....getting ready for some weathering...

"Some sources even reported that this tank could enter service in 2018. However eventually the PL-01 never passed the prototype stage."

What would it have looked like if it had passed the prototype stage and entered operative service.

Looking good so far Donald. Even though I don't often comment, I never the less always read as your builds are packed with useful information. Stuff a modeler could use on any kit.

Keep 'em coming & thanks !

I'm not shure if anyone really cares or not.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask, "any fit problems or other quirks?"
I guess the last few images answers that question.
Here's another, "would you ever build another of this kit?" or was it "PITA?"
Thanks again !

I haven't had a lot of fit problems with this kit, mostly minor. The question , would I build another. Answer- it's a lot of fun, but one is enough. Now when it comes to Shermans I have about 42 to do yet.
I really want a 1/16th. scale one with an interior.

I replaced the kit gun muzzle with one from Aber, it cost about $7.oo

Here's what the gun looks like with the kit muzzle.
