Working on the figures for this dio

The figures are stock Tamyia that will be reworked with new arms, uniforms – including adding tanker’s overall and Tanker jacket sleeves – and hands and faces as needed. Virtually all the 8 figures will have new hands sculpted to replace the molded plastic ones.

Nice poses on the figures. I like seeing the use of the older figures and bringing them up to good standards.

What are you using for the sculpting material - milliput?

The door frame looks a bit 'naked' - not much in there for holding a door or window? The photo is a bit "off" so it could just be that.

Thanks for the comments and thoughts. As you may know modeling is fun for me, but sculpting is my passion.

I am using A&B Putty. I am too cheap to pay for the Miliputi and I have used this stuff for years both in modeling and sculpting. Most of my tarps, kit bags etc are made from A&B.

Hinges are in place with a few door shreds also... Yet to finish the detailing of the building... more to come!

Looks like you are having a ball making all your new figurines...I will sometimes make a new arm or something but nothing like you do ..I cheat I use historex or hornet hands...lol
One little thing about your dio ...the open hatches on the M-20 should be OD ..Can you imagine sticking your face out in a war zone with white panels to show the Germans where to aim?Not me!
