Hi Folks,
I have questions regarding the M149 water trailer series: when did the U.S. Army set the single versions into service?
M149
M149A1
M149A2
Was the M149A2 a rebuild / tank replacement of the M149/M149A1 or all new build trailers?

AFAIK the M149A2 water trailers, with a stainless steel tank, replaced the M149 and M149A1 fiberglass tank water trailers. I guess they're not rebuilt trailers.
If needed, the corresponding Technical Manual is here . Using the NSN Numbers that can be found in it, I would say that the M149 appeared in 1963, the M149A1 in 1967 and the M149A2 in 1981...
