Need a good color match. I thought of using Humbrol Dark Sea Gray but it is dark. 02 Grau looks too light. Dragon says gray green for color.

Hold your breath. Mike from this site, was over there and looked at their tanks. He said no two had an exact color /pattern match to each other. I think close counts there may not be a color more specific than medium gray.

Hi;

Syrian Armor was almost impossible to judge as to there vehicle color's ! Especially on the Golan, Vehicles became almost immediately with Dirt & Dust; So unless you were really close colors became very Bleached out ! Almost all of there vehicles were just left in there Russian Green, and then depending on there Division or Batt; were given additional camouflage paint. The colors ranged on lite earth, and lite grey depending on the available paint they could source ! While walking thru the Valley of Tears after the Battle, some vehicles had elaborate scemes while other's were just left in Russian Green !!

Think these vehicles should be in original color. Photographed just after the Six Days War. Then they are in strong sun light and so on...
Russian green?

Hi; Guys.

Early Russian Armor green varied in color depending on which Zavod the vehicles were manufactured, which was very dark in contrast, and became Sun Bleached very fast !!
Some say Black Green is A good match; But even the colors could vary in hue from one vat to the next vat in color, so even vehicles coming from the same Zavod mite not be the same. And vehicles that were repainted later at Batt;/level were lucky if they had quality paint !!

CHEERS; MIKE.
