I found this M998 while searching for suitable vehicles during Desert Storm and the colours & markings intrigue me.
Can anyone help identifying this vehicle? Unit, area of operations and what not?
Thanks!!

Here's the caption I've found for this one :
"Marines man a BGM-71 Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided (TOW) missile system mounted atop an M998 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) during Exercise Eager Mace 92-1, the first major U.S./Kuwait combined service exercise since the end of Operation Desert Storm"

With those doors I'd say it's an M1046 (Tamiya makes one).

USMC Humvees seem to have carried less markings than Army ones.
Here are some pics.

Thanks!
Unfortunately that places it out of the timeframe. Too bad. Liked the camo and markings, which make for a more interesting display.

But I did find some others!
Command Sgt. Maj. Robert G. Nichols, now retired, deployed to the Middle East with 1st Brigade in 1990. Nichols played a major role in the largest air assault in history that secured Forward Operating Base Cobra during Operation Desert Storm, Feb. 24... (Photo Credit: U.S. Army)
Looks to have some form of camo. Mud??
And a very well weathered/worn paint one:

Found this video. It's a montage with some USMC Humvees during the Gulf war. Still no coalition chevrons, but you could add an orange air ID sheet.
