i was building a dio of a t34/76 in the winter snow. would it more likely be painted in the white or the green? or is either acceptable/typical

I don't know if the front they are a part of makes any difference, but I've been looking at lots of pictures of winter soviets supposedly in ukraine in 43/44 and there seems to be a healthy mix. I haven't done a count but I get the impression slightly more without winter camo than with, but I could be mistaken.

The pictures in my T-34 book that I've seen show the Soviets being faithful in applying whitewash to their tanks when the snow covers the ground. Of course it doesn't necessarily tell the whole story.
