This is certainly a small figure set! I hope the price reflects this.
Usefull figures though. Although they can't be used together!

Definitely useful set. And they could be used together,, as POW's in an Allied rear area,, just replace the jerry cans with Allied types and have them servicing jeeps, trucks, etc..

The early war figure with blue waffenfarbe (supply) seems odd with the can so high. The head position and where the eyes are looking is low. I would not want to be pouring liquid from that height to a receptacle so far down line of sight - even if the jerry can he is using is one for water. It could work as filling a truck radiator or be good for loading an empty can over the side of a trailer or something similar though.
A big oversight is no funnels included.....

Still, a useful set on an individual basis as you're right; they shouldn't be together being as they are from differing periods. I'll have to look and find out how many fuel cans come with it as well.

So one figure has great coat and jackboots, the other has late war uniform. But why can't they be used together? There are plenty of photos from the later stages of the war showing groups of German troops in a complete mix of uniforms.

It's a bit of a stretch as one guy is obviously dressed for cold weather, and the other, for warm weather. Anybody using both in the same scene will have to be really clever, or expect to receive some criticism! Maybe remove the gloved hands and replace, and fashion a scarfe for the other guy.

You obviously never have the debate in your house as to whether its time for the heating to go on or not!! I can often be found in t-shirt and shorts while my wife is wearing a hoody and wrapped up in a blanket

Whilst we are all free to pass our opinion I think some of these lack imagination in how they've viewed the release. Clearly the way the guy in the greatcoat is depicted, the height of the can, his eye focus indicates he is filling something not at ground level. As for the clothing, if the other guy had been doing a lot of manual work then he may well have got hot and removed his greatcoat. Where does it say they must be used together anyway? Use a bit of imagination. I'm sure these will be seen in dioramas but I would have liked to have seen images of the figures made up, which Miniart normally does, rather than just sprue shots.
