As as I do not belong to The Few and The Proud, is there a possibility for me to lay my hands on such TMs ? The access to the corresponding website is restricted (I don't even succeed in connecting !). The one I am looking for is TM 09674A-10/3A "Assault Amphibious Vehicle" hoping it's not "classified"
TIA

I know the army has a website http://www.adtdl.army.mil that has all the manuals in the Army (even those restricted, though you have to have access to look at them), including access to stuff that I'd probably consider restricted. As for the Marines, I'm not sure. Sorry

I already know the LOGSA website for Army stuff and I have downloaded several TMs about trucks, Humvees, M113 variants or Paladin SP howitzer.... but people from the USMC seem to be less generous (or more cautious....)

I put a msg in to one of my friends in the Corps who may be able to help you out. Any part in particular that you need?

First of all thanks for your proposal (and thanks Zach too !) I am searching for drawings of interior details, EAAK mounting brackets, antenna mounts, UGWS details.... To say the truth, almost anything would be find for me ! I have more than 250 AAV pics but I still lack details drawings such as those that can be found in TMs
Thanks for your help

My buddy doesn't have access to that TM, however, he said he'd ask a couple of people who might. In the mean time, I saw this floating around nother site and thought it might be helpful. It does have a few shots of the mounting brackets, antenna mounts, and a couple of the UGWS. http://members.tripod.com/modernarmor2/aavp7a1.htm

Thanks for your help Jeff. I knew this site : in fact it's one of the first I came across when I began to look for AAV pics . But as I want to represent "my" amtrac with the roof hatches open I'm trying to gather as much interiors pics or drawings as possible : fuel tank, driver position, radio racks.... Some pics of the spacers the EAAK upper side panels (=the flat and rectangular ones) are bolted on would be find too. But I think I'm a bit too greedy.....

Try this site
http://afvinteriors.hobbyvista.com/lvtp7/lvtp7a.html
Although a bit lacking, it has some really great pictures of the jarhead hauler interior
Also, I think they also show some links you'd be able to go to find other images/pictures of the interior.

Thanks Matt. I have discovered this website last week but I 'm sure your link will be useful to other amtrac fans. Unfortunately there seems to be no TM available from this site, only their numbers (that's where I have found the reference to the one I'm talking about in my first post) I have also downloaded an interesting document entitled "Employment of Amphibious Assault Vehicles" which gives many informations about their ...employment, and the organization chart of AAV units...So it was worth the visit !
