I've just heard on the tv news that the legendary war time singer Dame Vera Lynn has died at the age of 103. For those who aren't familiar with her career, she was a British forces sweetheart who sang some very memorable songs such as "bluebirds over the white cliffs of dover" and "we'll meet again" which being used now to help people get through this lockdown we are going through.
