If it comes with the boxed front fender extensions as shown in photo 6 i'd buy five right off the bat. Those things are a pain to scratch build, and so far no kit has had them.

The armoured car with a face that only a mother could love is a Ferret, manufactured by Daimler

Resin kit by Accurate Armour
https://accurate-armour.com/aa-products/135th-complete-kits/k120 They have other variants as well but I think this is the one who gets closest to the oe in front of the Centurion.
I don't know about any styrene kits ...

It's a Ferret, one of the most common post-war armoured cars used by the British and many other countries. No 1/35 plastic kit, but one is supposedly in the works. Accurate Armour has a whole series of Ferrets and variants in resin, and a few others have done resin/white metal kits over the years like Dartmoor, Firing Line and Sovereign. And Kit Form Services has a 1/24 scale resin kit.

How long has a styrene kit been "in the works"? By whom? No styrene bird in the hand for now. Still, the Centurion looks good.

I really hope Amusing Hobby will not go the separate tire/rim way or the rubber tire/track way... This can become a killer of a kit

The pre-order info at MBK says this:
"including workable track links (cut and cleaned!), metal springs and PE parts"
https://www.modellbau-koenig.de/en/artikel/75842 Indy-link track

Nothing about the wheels though .....
If they reuse the wheels on their FV4005 (Centurion chassis with a humongous turret on top) then it will be all styrene

Does this mean a Caernarvon is in the future?

Only if they make the right turret for it. The Caernarvon Mk 1 had the Mark 2 Centurion turret with 17 pounder and the Caernarvon Mk 2 had the Mark 3 Centurion turret with 20 pounder.
The Mark 5 turret was different to the Mark 3. It had fittings deleted, a redesigned roof, different co-ax armament amongst other small changes.

It is a great kit but:
I personnaly do not like the way AFV provides the wheels (plastic rim with rubber tire and part of the rim on the rubber part) plus the tracks. So if Amusing Hobby offers full plastic suspension parts and tracks I am geetting their kit (although I have most of the AFV Club centurion kits).

Hello everyone,
see attached link (article is in german but see the pictures);
https://www.panzer-modell.de/ausgepackt/archiv/amusing/35a029.htmThe wheels consist of one part - no rubber rims - though a little bit sharp-edged.
But I am really curious about following variants. The company also annonced an AVRE.

The Takom method for doing the Chieftain wheels was brilliant.

A Centurion Mk 5 is a great addition to the hobby and I'm already curious as to what variants may be offered with this kit's molds as a basis. One of the guys in my IPMS club served in Centurions in the Canadian Forces and had only good things to say about the real tank, roomy, fun to park, etc.

Not for Amusing Hobby - they don't make money on it

I'm down for another Cent sure, but I *really* want to see how that AVRE turns out!
Love the look of the tracks. AFVs default is those awful soft rubberey things. You gotta spring extra for the hard plastic versions. (Though I did utilize them on a Tamiya Centurion as an upgrade :-) )
Boy I wish they had included THOSE springs in the Conqueror kits! They look the part unlike the thin looking versions we got there.
