DEF Model sells wheels for the Heller VAB in packs of six, but not packs of four. This is fine if you want the ^x^ version, but France uses only the 4x4 version. Since both versions are made by Heller, you'd think DEF Models would sell small packs too. Or is this a conspiracy between Heller and DEF Model to make modelers buy two sets of wheels and three VAB 4x4 vehicles?

It could as simple as a way to make production and handling more efficient for DEF. Why eff about with two different packagings when the added cost in resin is minimal?

Howdy Y'all,
Has anyone ever dropped a wiener in the camp fire and were grateful there were still 9 more left in the pack? I bet the cost of buying a package of 4 wheels vs. a 6 pack wouldn't save you much.
Take care and stay safe,
Don "Lakota"

Anyone remember the former New York politician Anthony Weiner, and he got into serious trouble involving his wiener?

Yep! His surname amazed me! I seriously though it was a joke or a nickname stuck on him by some journalist.
I would have changed my name to "Schnauzenberger", "von Wurst" or whatever, anything but Weiner.

They probably think that modelers will use the third pair, put them in their spares box, or throw them away, but in any case, just get on with their lives.

Am I a lucky guy or what?
I checked the stash and I have 3 of the 4x4 and 1 of the 6x6 from Heller. That means 2+1 packages
