I messed up my paint job and need to strip the paint off. Luckly it is just the turret (without the barrel on it) and the back and the top. How should I go about stripping the paint off.

Oven cleaner works great. Spray it down then seal it up in a ziploc bag overnight. Take it out the next day and rinse away the paint.

Kar98K / Heavy Arty,
If I might add to this. If you are using the original Oven Off brand please use gloves and be mindful of the fumes as it is very caustic. Have tried the Oven Off no fumes or whatever they call it, but never had much luck. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Joe

I keep a plastic 2 litre ice-cream tub in my modelling room for this purpose. I dilute caustic soda with water and leave the model in it for an hour, and then go back and try to remove the paint with an old tooth brush. If it doesnt lift, add some caustic and stir well. Dont add too much as a chemical reaction with the water heats up and can warp your model.
As M60A3 has already warned .... use gloves and probably eye protection. Be careful of fumes and splashes. Works well though! Caustic soda can be bought in any supermarket and is usually stored along with bleaches, detergents, etc.

I just stripped my Bradley with Castrol Super Clean degreaser/cleaner. In my opinion this stuff is the best! It's about 5.98 at Wal-Mart for a gallon jug. They do have a smaller size as well. Here's a link that might help out. http://www.bonediggers.com/1-3/strip/strip.html I think I posted it right we'll see...

Yeah I can back up RiffRaff on the Castrol Super Clean....I bought an Aztek 4709 Airbrush...and it was gummed up badly with paint, along with just about every head for the AB....soaked it all in CSC for about 6 hrs, and the AB looks and works like brand new!!!
