Thanks for this good review Bruce. The track /wheel units look pretty good, and it is a relief I think that they didn't go for link and length tracks on this one, given the very narrow Crusader track. I've built a few of theirs which include single links around the idler and sprocket, and things can get very fiddly and hard work to maintain spacing and alignment.
The sprocket sprue gates do look a bit of a pain, as you mention, like you actually have to carve new teeth rather than just doing a clean up job.
Agree also that the hull top looks very nicely detailed and moulded.
Thanks
Matthew

Bruce, good job. I agree with Matthew about the tracks. Overall, I find IBG models highly detailed and sharply molded, albeit over-engineered. Someday I'll try another of their kits.

Thanks Matthew.
Yes, it looks like they’ve struck a good balance between detail and ease-of-assembly. The only challenge will be painting the rubber tyres without accidentally painting the tracks.

Thanks Frederick.
As I said to Matthew I think it looks like a good detail/buildability balance.
Not looking forward to bending those sand shields though.
