How are these segmented tracks assembled and painted? Do you have to remove the assembled tracks to paint them?

I cement everything together and allow it to setup for about 5 minutes or so then wrap them around the suspension. The cement is dry to the touch but it’s not solid yet. In your example I would leave the joint between D4 and D5 above the drive sprocket uncemented and held in place with a piece of tape. This way you can come back the next day and take the track off carefully for painting.
