Hi, i've got the RPG model of the Phalanx. there are some parts on there made outof a black rubber material.
i've tried all sortsof adhesives to glue it to the plastic parts with no luck. its very flexible and as soon as it moves the glue comes unstuck.
any suggestions please?

Cheers Mike, would that work with the hard plastic as well?
And do you mean like the stuff you use for repairing shoe soles etc?

Hi; Colin.
"YES" That would work also; I Don't know what products or Brands that you have Down Under; Silacone sealant compounds would be my first choice ! Now it would only take A very little amount to make the Bond, so special care would be the rule as would Contact Cement !! The Best Method would be to also use Denatured Alcohol and make up A little Slurie in A small Glass Jar; Mix well and Dab A small amount on the parts to be joined !!
GDAY MATE; MIKE.

tried the rubber contact cement and silicone sealant, and liquid nails. Nothing will stick this stuff together. As soon as i move it the rubber parts just fall off

Have you washed the rubber parts before gluing?...They may have
residue of mold release agent still present impairing the gluing
process.
or if all else fails try to contact RPG and ask what glue they
suggest.

Cheers Joe, not washed the rubber so will give it a go. I have contacted RPG, just waiting to see if they reply.
It's frustrating because otherwise it's a great kit

How about a hot glue gun? That stuff sticks anything together and remains flexible when dry.
Plus, if you have a wife, she has one. I swear they all automatically get one when they turn 30.

I don´t think the material is not rubber but vinyl. Maybe you should try vinyl glue? I guess you are talking about the ammo feed chutes?
