US has deployed a battalions worth of upgraded M1's in Poland. This includes ERA blocks and Trophy. Nice to see this gear getting out to the field.

The direct link works for anyone who has viewed the image from the blog.
When I clicked the link I got an error message.
Then I clicked the link to the blog and tried again, same failure.
Then I clicked on the first image in the blog and then I tried the direct link and now it worked.
The reason that it works the last time is either that some flag has been set telling the website that my browser is actually reading the blog OR the image has been cached by my browser so that the website is not involved when I view it later.
After some time the cache and/or that flag expires and I will be back to square one again.
There are many web-sites who have this coding

So these are the latest M1 version (SEP V3? - I forgot the nomeclature)? Seeing that close up pic makes me realize how large that turret armor package really is. Pretty impressive.

Yes. The M1A2 SEP Version 4 will add a Laser Warning System, more new digital electronics, 3rd GEN FLIR, APS, and other components that the V3 has.
In my opinion, GDLS and the U.S. Army should have just redesigned the entire turret similar to the Leopard 2 Next Generation MBT instead of ad-hoc additions, but I suppose it's all to keep the Lima plant open for continuous upgrades.

Of interest is the mentioning of an M1300 HETS for these tanks. Anyone heard of it?

With the Trophy system installed, I wonder if the M1 is now considered to be a "wide load" when being transported on highways?

Trophy is an add-on system that can be removed as needed. My guess is that it would be removed for road transport.

Looks like during this exercise, they kept Trophy on during transport. BTW, what's with having MP's install all this gear?

This does not look like sep v3/m1a2c to me. M1a2c has bigger frontal armor inserts and thus the turrent front is longer. Here it seems they added counter weights to balance the weight of the Trophy system. Perhaps it also increases protection.
I keep wondering when we will see m1a2c in plastic or at least a turret conversion set...
