This is the apra40 mlrs system

It is based on a dac665 truck which is made in Romania by the company Roman


The apra40 was first designed in mid 70s and has gone thru several development phases

these vehicles were used in some parts of the middle east during most conflicts in late 70's to early 90's as test phase for the newly developed system

israel (at latrun museum)


initial design was done by a joint effort of 3 nations

gen 1 back dates to 1978/79

gen 2 back dates to 1985

recent is know as LAROM

carrier truck is DAC-665T/G made in BRACOV / ROMANIA by ROMAN

initial truck design by MAM of GERMANY
