Hi All,

I finally got my new Rye Field Chally 2 TES Megatron model that I've been hoping to get ever since I saw the first indications that the kit existed! However, one, perhaps stupid, question. Since this tank is built off the 'regular' Challenger 2, I presume that the TES requires anti-slip on the turret and hull, correct? On the box top illustration, and even on photos of the TES vehicle, it is not quite so clear that anti-skid is present. However, until and unless I get definitive information which says that anti-slip is NOT present on the TES, I'll plan on putting on, in the same places where it goes on the much older Tamiya Challenger 2 Desertized tank. Does anyone know any different?

Hi Curt,

Will be interested in seeing what comes of your question. I too have just purchased this kit and have been looking through images of the real McCoy, but they all seem to show the beast with some form of 'Mobile Camouflage System'...so no naked images yet to match the RFM kit.

Sorry I couldn't help, .

Cheers, ,

At 2:33 in this video, you can notice the anti-slip on the turret top...

I guess you could spot some in Darren's walkaround pics as well :
