Hi,
Modern is not my favorite so I'll rather talk about your pics.
Always use a plain colour as background else the details don't show up very well.
Never take a picture as you've done on hte first pic. all details are squashed.

Welcome! Both kits look really nice. Very neat paint work.
I agree with the above, you can do quite a bit with your pictures to show off the models better, with backgrounds and with setting the color on your camera. (The bradley the white balance is way too red... focus on something white, lock your focus and then take your pictures.)
On behalf of some of the other OOB builders here, it’ll be fun to watch your talent grow!

A simple one dollar piece of large poster board from Wal Mart or wherever for the background makes every picture better no matter the subject.
