Just colored art paper, right now it's Royal Purple.

I want to show part of the engine so I cut off the lower panels, this would also help cool the engine.

I'm not shure if I got this right, but I can't see any other way.

Subscribed and closely watching, since this one moved up my stash considerably and is in the loops to be opened and started soon... Thank you very much for sharing your build in such detail!

No problem installing the Truck Bed.

There's one thing that has been bothering me about the winch opening in the front bumper, there's no hook-up for running the cables from the winch to it. It's like the researchers took info. off of two different vehicles. It just doesn't feel right.
So I covered the opening in the front bumper.

OK lets see you sand this down.

While waiting for the putty to dry I started on the Wheels and Tires
I roughened up the wear surfaces of the tires with a little sanding.















The Tire openings are a little bigger on one side so I put that side to the inside where you can't see it.

Had a little computer problem, seems to be working now.

I finished the Tractor.




I'll be working on the Trailer unit next. I'll post more of the Tractor when everything is finished.
( Of special note the windshield doesn't fit really good, It would be better to fit and trim the Windshield before doing any assembly or painting on the Cab.

Started work on the trailer.
I removed the Logo and filled most of the push pin marks.

Test fitted.


Painted the inner parts, easier now than when assembled.

Here's some more.
The Deck was a little warped so it took a bunch of my special clamps to hold it together while the glue set up.

The hinges for the rear ramps are a little tricky.
First you need to widen the slots slightly so the hinge bar can move.

Glue the part with the pin first and let it set up.
Then place the Hinge Bar on the pin and rotate it into the slot.

Then place the other against the bar and glue to the frame (Not the bar)

Assembled the blocks on the deck.

The Deck and upper Frame.

You could glue it down now but it would be a lot harder to paint

I painted it first.

Test fitted.
