Hi there guys, i bought an airbrush and compressor about 3 months ago and have noticed that my airbrush has alot of "sputter" (like little dots of paint) when i use it and try do fine lines as on my tiger I (1:72) camo. I was wondering wether this is to do with the paint being to thick, to much pressure from compressor or what.

Airbrush: Bager Anthem 155
Bager Compressor (cant remeber model ill look if it imp)

Thx, John

have you cleaned it properly? you may have dried paint on the needle if possiable strip it down and give it a proper clean there maybe paint were you cant see it only do this if your confident of putting it back together ok also check your paint is thin enough and dont spray directly onto the model start over a piece of paer ect so that any sudden bursts of paint builds up on that 1st

Do you have enough air pressure? If not the paint can't atomize properly and will cause sputtering.
