Cool! But I think the survivability of the crew would be less because of less armor to the sides.

They are used for GROM (some kind of special forces I guess) so probably the speed and crew-pick-up/drop-off are in favor of armament... (don't think these guys will be in battle situations for a long period of time....) More like getting in fast and getting out fast....

GROM are Polish special troops in Iraq. I must admit I had no clue they use Hummers...

If you wish to read more about GROM, you can check out their website. Unfortunately it is in Polish, but you can probably use a translator (i.e. babelfish) to get the gist of what it says.
