Hello everyone!
If You like good diorama reference photos or good background pics, especially from Normandy, Netherland and Ardennes, here is an excellent site:
http://www.twenot.nl/diorama.htm
I used pics of this site for a small figure dio, showing four tired german infantrymen (Academy) during Battle of the Bulge on their retreat through endless winter woods in 1944.
I put them for You on this directory:
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/rgellings/lst?.dir=/ardennes&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/
I hope You like them ...
Greetings from Germany
Ralf :-)

Hi,
Nice figures. The pic called Ardenenn3 is very cool, looks like a real scene.
Very good work.

The scene is very nice indeed.
Goes to prove that you don´t need much stuff to make a clear idea work!
You have some great painting talents according to the faces...oils, I guess?
The battle worn exhausted face is haunting!
How did you make the snow?
Toni

Just to add this comment on pictures of Ardennes:
Building on pictures are typical of north of Ardennes and north of Battle of Bulges front.
Leaving near Bastogne, I can say that buildings have a different shape and use different materials. Take account on this when using these pictures.
But, posting this kind of pictures is a very good Idea! Good job!
