Excellent work,the cruel sea is well represented, just one point, the ships derricks wouldn't be topped, they would be lowered to prevent damage in heavy weather, but this dio captures the moment in time well.

Did you get this done in the last month (we started on July 1)? For some reason I had it in my mind that we just started Lend Lease last week (confused about campaigns I'm in, sorry) and there was no way you had finished it in that amount of time....

I asked this very question on model ship forums, and checked numerous photos of Liberty Ships and other cargo vessels under way. Practice varied, although cargo booms were more often stowed in a vertical position when a horizontal position would interfere with cargo stowed on deck. Notice that the second set of cargo booms (directly before the superstructure/bridge) is stowed horizontally.
