Why not discuss about military vehicles used in movies and in TV shows? Thinking about BoB KT M47 or Arnhem Leopanthers.
Internet Movie Car Database is start but not very accurate.
Saw a Steward & Stevenson MTV truck used as a Russian ICBM transporter in Scorion show.

https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_863094-Stewart-and-Stevenson-M1084-MTV.html

IMCDB states that it`s a M1084, but it has a flatrack attached, so maybe a M1148 LHS.

The ersatz Tigers in Kelly's Heroes were visually modified T-34's by the Yugoslavian army.

In the Big Red One, M51 Shermans were used as german tanks in the kasserine pass battle, during the cave fight and during the scene where the baby was born. There is also a burning t-55 or t-54 that the platoon marches by one night.

They've got to get creative to bring to life vehicles long destroyed or that have become museum pieces.

'The Beast' was filmed in Israel featuring a Tiran. At least the tank was (more or less) accurate. The .50 cal was disguised as a DShK, the 'MI-8' was an IAF Super Frelon.

Here's a FMTV used in the movie Transformers 4 : Age of Extinction :

M24 Chaffee in "Don Camillo's Last Round" (1955), which is a French/Italian movie, not a German one :

Does anyone know why a British tank (a Chieftain) was used in Walking Dead, S1E1, instead of an American design (M1, M60)?

Has anyone ever mentioned the movie "Tank"? James Garner stars with an M4 Sherman and battles a corrupt sheriff.

I follow a few tank restoration/rebuild pages on Facebook. In one of them they are building almost from scratch a Pz IVJ ('almost' in that they are using a few hard-to-make parts recovered from old battlefields). If these guys were smart, they'd offer their tank for-rent for war movies.

Hollywood has pimped out that very same vehicle in several movies. The US Army is probably not thrilled with loaning out such expensive toys. For years movies have used the venerable Huey when the Blackhawk should have been used. Same can be said of quite a few others.
I rather liked the diversity of vehicles in Man in the High Castle. Not a bunch of vehicles substituted for other hard to obtain ones, but used in the "what if" world of a parallel universe.

Funnily enough, in Season 4 there's another tank - this time an M60. BTW, where does the Chieftain come from?
