Hi All,

I got my Rye Field Challenger 2 TES Megatron kit several weeks ago now, courtesy of Andy's Hobby Headquarters, the first US supplier that I found who had them in stock.

I have a question that may already have been addressed, but does anyone know if Rye Field plans to reverse engineering their TES into a 'regular' Challenger 2? While I love the Tamiya Chally 2 Desertized kit (I built one 10+ years ago, and have 2 more in the stash), I'm guessing the Rye Field is a step up from the Tamiya. In fact, detail-wise, I know it has some details the Tamiya doesn't have, such as the under the turret top external plates, where some of the valves/handles/controls reside in the small rectangular openings, something the Tamiya made the holes for, but provided no details under the holes. I had researched the details to fill in under the holes for the Tamiya, but looks like I won't have to do so for the Rye Field, as they've already provided those details, albeit in a pretty cursory fashion. Anyway, back to my original question...

Does anyone know if Rye Field plans on a non-TES Chally 2 in the future?
